Tammy's obituary

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Tammy Rollings Tucker, born May 10, 1961, who left us on the day of Christmas, December 25, 2023. Her departure has left a void that could never be filled. Tammy was predeceased by her loving husband, Donald Tucker, and her caring parents, Thomas and Syble Rollings and her first husband Whitt Mitchell.

Tammy's life was a testament to her fierce love for her family. She is survived by her children, Tyler (Shela) Mitchell, Whitney (Jerome/Hoss) Pace, Hunter Mitchell; her grandsons, Gage, Triston and Braxton Moore, Bryce Mitchell, Cullen, and Whitten Pace; and her granddaughters, Morgan,, Crimson and Ember Mitchell, step-grandchildren DJ Pace and Annabelle Pruett and one great granddaughter Olivia Tyler Mitchell. Her only sibling/sister Terri (Jeff) Eads. Her niece (Dru) and nephew (Decota). Each one of them was a source of immense joy and pride for Tammy. She always said her greatest accomplishment was her three children, nine grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.

Known for her vivacious spirit and generous heart, Tammy was the embodiment of joy and strength. She was a beacon of light in every room she entered, radiating warmth and love. She taught us all to smile in adversity, to be resilient, and to love wholeheartedly. She made an indelible impact on those around her through her compassion towards the homeless, her love for animals, and her unstoppable drive to take care of those in need.

A lover of life, Tammy relished in good food, music, and company. Her taste buds found solace in Taco Bell, Champy's, EL Patron, Po Boy Factory, and in her own cooking. She quenched her thirst with her favored Coca Cola and Chelada. An all-around music lover, Tammy always had the radio playing. Her favored TV show was 'YellowStone', she was a fan of numerous movies but recently started loving Harry Potter. For Tammy, Alabama football  was not just a football team, it was a part of her identity Roll Tide Roll🐘 and the only vehicle she thought was worth owning was a FORD.

Tammy's love for family extended beyond humans to her two dogs, Bacardi (Black) and Jack (Daniels). She treasured spending time with her grandkids, friends, and at home on the couch with her dogs. Tammy found joy in simple pleasures - from buying off marketplace to being anywhere in Florida. Her favorite local spots were The Shack Bar and Grill and Ott's. She loved vacationing in Port Charlotte, FL, and Helen, GA. Her heart bore the colors of Crimson Red and Black, which reflected her vibrant personality.

A celebration of life for Tammy will be held on January 15, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Lifepoint Church in Albertville, AL. As we congregate to honor Tammy’s life, we hope to encapsulate her spirit of love, generosity, and resilience. Her legacy will continue to inspire us to care for others and to love our family unconditionally.

Even as we grieve for Tammy’s loss, we take solace in knowing that she was surrounded by love in her life. Tammy, your wings were ready but our hearts were not. You are missed more than words can express. Fly high you beautiful angel!
