Tammy Ann Schuls, age 54, of Florence, WI, passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2022 after a 10 month battle with pancreatic cancer. Daughter of Herman, Jr. and Betty Jo Pugh, also of Florence, WI, Tammy was born in Melrose Park, IL on January 29, 1968. She lived in Hastings, MI and Adrian, MI most of her life, and spent the last five years in Florence. Tammy loved drawing and painting, and especially enjoyed studying the science of genetics. Survivors include her sons, Matthew Schwanke of Hastings, MI, Lucas Schwanke and Ben Schwanke, both of Florence, WI, and her daughter, Mel Keyys of Blissfield, MI; her father, Herman Schuls; her uncle Tony Schuls; her brother, Carmen Schuls; and her granddaughter, Natasha Clark of Blissfield, MI. She is preceded in death by her mother, Betty Jo Pugh, her grandfather Herman Schuls Sr, and her grandmother; Theresa Schultz. Tammy also leaves behind her beloved dog, Fenrir. In accordance with her wishes, Tammy has been cremated, and a private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
