Tammy's obituary

Tammy Rebbert (Dextro), Tams, 63, of Waldorf, Maryland, passed away on 1/11/2022 after a long battle with Liver disease.

Tams was born in April of 1959 to Samuel Dextro Jr. and Lilianna Dextro (Susman) in Centerville, Maryland.
After graduation, she landed her first job as a cashier for Food Lion grocery store, kicking off a 44 year career working for the same company.

In 1997, she met Joseph Rebbert, and they wed in 2000, going on to combine families with their children from previous marriages, Tam's son, Cal Steps or Waldorf, MD, Tam's now step son, Dilion Deleon of Baltimore, MD and her now step daughter, Lauren Engle (Rebbert) of Baltimore, MD, now residing in Texas.

After retiring in 2018, Tams spent her time playing Bingo, doing her crossword puzzles, crocheting and caring for their beloved cockatiel, Joey Dean.

Tam's celebration of life will be held on Saturday, 1/15/2022 at Squire's Restaurant from 3-5pm. The family asks that if you wish to attend, please practice Covid-19 precautions, social distance and please wear a mask. A larger Celebration in Tam's honor will be announced at a later date due to the rising number if Covid-19 cases at this time.
