Tammy (Fears) Martin Obituary

Tammy (Fears) Martin, 61, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on January 24, 2025. She was born on September 7, 1963, in Indianapolis to Maryann Curtis and Lester Fears.

A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister, Tammy's greatest joy in life was her family. She poured her heart into her relationships, creating a home filled with warmth and love.

In her quiet moments, Tammy could often be found with knitting needles in hand, creating beautiful pieces that reflected her patience and creativity. Her intelligence and warmth touched many lives, and she lived her Christian faith through her actions – whether extending a kind word, a helping hand, or sharing her unconditional love.

Tammy is survived by her loving husband, Keith Martin; her children, Sean Curtis and Amber Leonard; seven beloved grandchildren; and her siblings, Terry Fears Hazel, David Fears, and Jody Curtis. She also leaves behind her dear friend Gretchen and her cherished dog, Peanut. Her twin sister, Terry’s, touching words, "As a twin, a part of me has died with her," speak to the profound connection they shared throughout their lives.

Tammy's legacy lives on through the love she gave so freely to her family, the wisdom she shared, and the countless lives she touched with her kindness. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to inspire those who knew and loved her.
