Tammy Lee Asher, 59, of Beaumont, Texas, passed away on March 18, 2026. Tammy was born on December 12, 1966, in Beaumont, Texas to Anna and Glen Thornton. She graduated from Lumberton High School in 1985 and married the love of her life, Doug, in 1987. She spent the last 10 years driving for Coastal Welding Supply/AWG. Tammy found her greatest joy spending time with family. Beach combing, camping, cheering on her kids and grandkids, and snuggling with her dogs. She was known for her quick wit and sense of humor. She is survived by her loving husband, Lloyd Douglas Asher; her children, Richard and Amanda King, and Alan and Emily Asher; her grandchildren, Aaron and Caroline King; and her siblings, Dwayne and Carolyn Thornton, Brian and Catherine Bishop, and Melody Arter. She is preceded in death by her parents, Glen Thornton and Anna Mullins; and her brother, Ben Thornton. Tammy will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
