Tammie's obituary
On Saturday, July 15, 2023 we suffered a deep loss when our dear Tammie passed away at the age of 53. She was born in San Diego, CA on July 18, 1969 to parents Patricia and Gary Taylor.
Tammie is survived by her loving family including her mother Pat, her brothers Gary and Greg, her children Alex and Alexis, and her cherished grandchildren Ava, Noah and Audrey. She is also survived by a large spiritual family who loved her dearly.
Tammie was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on July 13, 1986. She deeply believed in the Bible's promises about a New World where there will no longer be any pain or suffering, and she shared this assured hope with many others over the years.
She would often remind her loved ones of her hope of the resurrection to perfect health by saying, "when I wake up, make sure you're there to greet me!" (Revelation 21: 3,4; John 5:28, 29).
Tammie truly loved spending time with her grandchildren and was the very best "Gigi" any child could ever want. She loved spending time with her family as well as her close friends and was genuinely selfless ~ a model in showing fellow feeling for others. Tammie exemplified the definition of a true friend as found in the Bible (Proverbs 17:17).
To Tammie, friends were family, and she can be described by many as an anchor ~ consistently and thoughtfully providing love and support to many (Proverbs 18:24). She will be greatly missed for her fun-loving, calm nature and her observant eye that allowed her to be encouraging in ways so much appreciated by others.
With very few words, Tammie could quickly help others to gain perspective and be guided in the right direction. Her quiet strength, dignity and genuine concern drew many to Tammie.
Tammie relied on her Heavenly Father Jehovah God, as she demonstrated in the way she lived and treated others.
One of her favorite promises from Jehovah is found in the Scriptures, to which she often referred, at Isaiah 41:10 ~ "Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be anxious, for I am your God. I will fortify you, yes, I will help you, I will really hold on to you with my right hand of righteousness."
Another one of Tammie's favorite Scriptures was 2 Timothy 4:7 ~ "I have fought the fine fight, I have run the course to the finish, I have observed the faith." She fell asleep in death with full confidence in her God Jehovah, in his assured promise that He will soon call her back to life, in a perfect body in Paradise.
The family and close friends of Tammie would like to express our deepest appreciation and gratitude for all of your prayers, expressions of sympathy, and acts of loving kindness during this time of sadness.
Although Tammie will be greatly missed beyond words, her memory, including her record of faithfulness to Jehovah God, will continue with all who knew and loved her.
