Tami Gallicio Scherer
October 31,1958 - August 29, 2021
  Tami gained her angel wings,unexpectedly, on August 29,2021 at the age of 62 with her daughter by her side. Tami had a fulfilling  life being a wife, momma, sister, nanny and friend. If Tami ever met you, she remembered you. If you ever met Tami, you couldn't forget her. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends  She was a devoted and loving wife of 38 years to Bryan H. Scherer. She leaves behind her only child, Bryana Scherer, whom she cherished and adored and would have moved mountains for. She was greeted at Heaven's gate by her Father, Loy Gallicio Sr and her 2 sisters, Glenda Hawley and Loann Ledet (David Ledet Sr.) She is survived by her mother, Thelma Wattigney Gallicio, sister Lori Dawson (Mike) and brother, Loy Gallicio Jr.(Christy). She was always known as Nanny Tam or "T" to Curtis Ledet Jr., Julian Ledet, Melissa Ledet, Gage Ledet,  Nicole (Jeremy), Penelope, Sophia, Josephine, Isabelle, and Gabrielle Gossell, Christopher Hawley, Ryan Hawley, David (Courtney) Ledet Jr , Paul (Brandy), Savannah, Logan, and Paul Jr Ledet, Lauren (Christian), and Lola Chavez, Melanie (Matthew), Emily, Alexis, and Olivia Mynes, Cameron and Colby Gallicio.  Friends and family are invited to attend her Celebration of Life. Service will be held on Saturday, December 11th at Memorial Baptist Church, 5701 Veterans Blvd from11am - 2 pm. A look back at the life of Tami, along with words of comfort and inspiration will begin at 1pm.
