Tamara "Tammy" Walker

Tammy Walker died unexpectedly of a heart attack on September 29, 2015. She was a private duty LPN who dutifully tended her mother, Mary R. Walker, in Marion, SC. Tammy graduated with an associate's degree from Midlands Technical College in Health Education and a LPN degree from Horry-Georgetown Technical College. Tammy worked as a nurse for many years in Conway and Myrtle Beach. She was an avid reader and pet lover. Tammy was preceded in death by her father, James D. Walker. Besides her mother she is survived in death by her sister, Marti Sedgwick; her brother-in-law, Brad Sedgwick; and two beloved nephews, Jay and Jarod Sedgwick, all of Wilmington, NC. She was cremated and her ashes will be spread in a private family memorial. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that you donate to the local animal shelter in her memory.
