Background
Talia Elizabeth Cervi was born on April 25th, 2024. Her time on Earth was brief, but she was loved nonetheless.
For those unfamiliar with this story, Chelsea, my sister, was expecting her first child, a little girl. Weeks ago it was discovered that this little one may not make it to her due date. Despite many preventative measures, Talia had other plans. At 22 weeks and 6 days pregnant, a traumatic delivery story on the side of the road led to Talia's arrival, unassisted by any medical team. While Talia was born alive, unfortunately, she did not survive.
In order to give Talia the best chance of making it term, Chelsea was put on bedrest and has been unable to work for quite a while. Chelsea's line of work, as a behavioral therapist, is very physically demanding and can result in many physical altercations.
Chelsea, and her fiancé, Isaac, have spent weeks worrying about Talia and praying that her arrival was delayed as much as possible. The burden and stress they carried was tremendous. Now, the grief they wear is monumental.
I'm raising funds so that we help with the expenses related to Talia and Chelsea's care, the funeral and memorial items. If there are additional funds, they will go to trauma services and related needs.
The funeral arrangements are pending and I will share those once finalized. Chelsea loves flower and all things purple.
Thank you for your generosity during such a tragic and difficult time in our family. Contribute
