Tajiana's obituary

With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Tajiana Mizell, a beloved mother, sibling, and daughter. Born on September 30, 1999, and tragically brought to rest on September 8, 2025, Tajiana led a life full of love and compassion for everyone around her.
Tajiana was the cherished daughter of Diana Hopkins, John Mizell, step-daughter to Philip Hopkins and Leslie Mizell. She was also cherished and loved by her Givers of Life Jessica Primus( Step Lawrence Primus) and Anthony Johnson. She was a loving sister to Savannah Hopkins, Maddie Hopkins, Gabriela Hopkins , Jamie Hopkins, Nicole Mizell( Sister in law) , Brianna Anderson, Anicia Johnson, Alexis Primus, Morgan Strebeck, , Amaya Johnson, Sierra Anderson, Brianna primus, and Milana Harkness. She was also a proud sister to her brothers, James Mizell, Anthony Gonzalez, Shaun Primus, Adrian Primus, Lance Strebeck, , Gary Pink(Brother in Law), Dandre Primus, and Drew Gilbert.
Tajiana was blessed with an extensive family that includes her grandmother Ida Mehl and Sharon Mizell. A doting aunt, Tajiana loved and cared for her numerous nieces and nephews. Her life was enriched by her daughter Journey Cox, and her two sons, Loyal Cox, and Legend Cox. Tajiana also was the beloved mother to Kailyn Gilbert-Cox and shared a special bond with her ex-partner, Keenan Cox.
She is fondly remembered by her aunts, Takiea Lake, Sandie Vanhoozier, Melissa Goodfellow, Wendy Mizell, Rosalind Anzalone, Margaret Schindler, Jullie Humeniuk, and Grace Lyndsay, her uncles Stephen Humeniuk, John Anzalone, Joe Mizell, Adam Lowell, and Jayden Mehl, and her many cousins. She was predeceased by her grandfather Frank Schindler, Jack Mizell, and her aunt Belinda Sturtz.
Tajiana's radiant personality is best described as loving, caring, and outgoing, which left an indelible mark on everyone she interacted with. Her legacy is best embodied by her three children, a testament to her tender and nurturing nature.
In honor and celebration of Tajiana's life, a ceremony will be held on October 19, 2025, at 3:30 PM at 10001 Bird River Rd. Middle River, Maryland 21220 ( Our Lady Queen Of Peace Church) It is an open invitation to all who knew and loved Tajiana to join and share their stories, memories, and to pay their respects.
