Taggert's obituary
“One thing that I have found is that we have so little control in this life. The only thing we have true control over is our attitude. I have found myself waking up in pain more often than not lately, yet I choose to smile. If you know me, my number one goal is to make you smile. This life is pain, yet we can choose love.
We can choose to smile.
So smile.
Be with the ones you love.”
- Taggert Foias
Taggert Trian Foias was a dedicated father and fiercely loyal friend. He was careful about who he chose as friends, but would do anything for them without hesitation. He loved his family deeply and was constantly trying to plan a family reunion after the passing of his grandmother. He is proceeded by his mother Karen, father Trian, and younger brother Colton. His first and foremost concern and love was for his son Owen. He loved being outdoors. He enjoyed camping, hiking, running, shooting, and riding his ATV. He also loved animals, especially his 2 dogs which he rescued from the pound. He also practiced martial arts and studied Krav Maga. He lived his life passionately and followed his dreams. From an early age he wanted to become a police officer. He followed this dream starting as a security guard, then animal control, and finally serving his community in West Jordan and Tooelle as a police officer for 10 years. He then left the force and became one of the top salesman at his company. He was also very religious and kept pictures of Christ in every room of his house. Taggert is loved and missed by his friends and family.
