Tabitha's obituary
Tabitha “Tabby” Lynn Sisson, age 52, passed away on February 6, 2026, at her home in Hamilton, Ohio. She was born on March 11, 1973, in Fredericksburg, Virginia, the daughter of Pamela Sue (Osborne) Hendrickson.
Tabby graduated from North Adams High School, Class of 1991. She pursued higher education, earning her Associate Degree in Nursing from Southern State Community College in 2003, followed by her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ohio University in 2016.
Tabby married the love of her life, her travel companion, and best friend, Robert Gary Sisson, on August 8, 2015. Together, they shared and enjoyed nearly 22 years of life.
Tabitha loved spending time with her husband, often exploring new places and enjoying fine dining together. She also cherished time with her children, her mother, and her grandchildren, who lovingly knew her as their “Gigi”—a title she was immensely proud to hold. Tabby was an avid shopper who delighted in finding the best deals, and she had a passion for all things beauty, jewelry, and maintaining her well-kept appearance. One of her greatest accomplishments and joys was serving her community as a Registered Nurse, having spent the majority of her career at Kettering Health–Hamilton (formerly Fort Hamilton Hughes Hospital).
Tabitha is survived by her husband, Gary Sisson; her children, Veronika (Caleb) McIntire and Corey (Jordan) Jordan; her stepdaughter, Hailee (Omar) Medina; her grandchildren, Luka Medina, Silas McIntire, Beau McIntire, London Medina, and Baker Jordan; and her mother, Pamela Hendrickson.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Mary Kidder, whom she loved deeply; her mother- and father-in-law, Rowena and Robert Sisson; and several aunts and uncles.
At the request of the family, there will be no formal service at this time. A small, intimate memorial service is being planned for close family and friends in the summer of 2026. While not everyone may be able to be included, the family is deeply grateful for the love and support they have received.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Tabby’s honor to the Susan G. Komen Foundation at www.komen.org/howtohelp/donat…, by calling 1-877-GO-KOMEN, or by sending a check in her memory to:
