Sylvia L. (Eicholtz) Nesemeier, age 80, of Bedford, TX died Sunday, January 1 at Kindred Hospital in Arlington, TX. Sylvia was born May 22, 1942, to Vernon and Irene Eicholtz of Freeport. Sylvia attended Freeport High School and enjoyed keeping up with fellow class of 1960 alumni. She married Gary D. Nesemeier in May 1964. Together Gary and Sylvia raised two daughters: Amy and Ann. Sylvia worked in the laundry at Wesley Willows nursing home and as an assembler at AquaMatic. She enjoyed traveling, quilting, card embroidery, cooking and spending time with family. In retirement Gary and Sylvia enjoyed wintering in Harlingen, TX and spending the summer in Rockford. Sylvia is survived by her husband Gary, daughters Amy (Bill Lowry) and Ann and granddaughter Lena Lowry. No funeral or memorial service will be held.
