Sylvia Ann Perkins Jones, born to the late John and Vivian Wricks on December 19, 1950 entered into eternal rest May 30th, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents and was the oldest of six children. She entered into marriage to the late Ronald Jones Sr. and from their union came two sons, Ronald Jones Jr.(Metrell) and Mitchell Jones (Kourtney). She leaves to cherish her memory 5 grandchildren, Ronald Jones III, Brandon Jones, Brandi Jones, Kamari Jones, Keyton Jones and two great grandchildren Jourdyn and Jaidyn Jones, two godchildren Janice Wricks (Dookie Doo) and Joshua Allison, two sisters Rose Morris and Eva Allison(Mike), and an awesome sister friend Laverne Taylor and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends and was preceded in death by her husband and her siblings James Wricks, JoAnn Shy, John Wricks Jr. and Janice Wricks.

Sylvia graduated from Booker T. Washington High School. She was a long time employee at Hotel Dieu Hospital. Sylvia enjoyed spending time with her loved ones, playing cards, bingo, going to the casino, and dancing.

Sylvia was truly loved by everyone and for her family was everything.
