Sylvia Ruth Graves passed away on Friday, August 20th, 2021 in Wheat Ridge, Colorado at the incredible age of 104. Ruth was born in a small town in Michigan in 1917 and grew up on a farm in Illinois. In the late 1940s, she and her husband Earl Graves moved to Colorado to start their family. In her younger years, she loved hiking the mountains of Colorado and loved to bowl. She also loved to garden, read books, and play cards. She cherished family visits that always were accompanied by fun (and sometimes competitive) card games. Ruth is survived by her two daughters Jean Bennett and Lynda Sawyer, son-in-law Jim Bennett; her grandchildren Trent Bennett, Luke Bennett, Joel Arthur, Melissa Swayne, and Amy Bennett; and her great-grandchildren Lynn Rasmussen and Alexis Schomer.
