Sylvia Anne's obituary

Sylvia Anne Wilson (nee Coble), known as Anne, passed away on January 23, 2024, in Palm Harbor, Florida, at the age of 84. She was born on September 24, 1939, in Albemarle, North Carolina. Sylvia Anne was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, Richard A. Wilson, her son Richard A. Wilson II (Julie), her grandsons David Wilson (Ellyn), Daniel Wilson (Jessica), Paul Wilson (Amanda), and 6 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her son Douglas Bruce Wilson (Danna) and her granddaughters Natalie Wilson and Katherine Salih (Anas). Sylvia Anne was preceded in death by her parents, Doyster and Myra Ileen (Regan) Coble.

Sylvia Anne pursued her passion for education, having worked as a teacher, principal, and later as the Director of Management Development with the Pinellas County School Board. She graduated from Gainesville High School in Gainesville, Florida, and obtained her BA and M.A.Ed. from the University of South Florida.

Sylvia Anne was an active member of Calvary Church. In her free time, she indulged in her love for the arts, particularly painting, sewing, and jewelry making.

A memorial service to honor and celebrate Sylvia Anne Wilson's life will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at 11 am at Calvary Church, located at 110 McMullen Booth Rd, Clearwater, FL 33759. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
