It is with deep sorrow that we gather to celebrate the life of Syldon Sylvester Nedd, affectionately known as Don, who passed away on July 20, 2024, at the age of 50. Born on December 12, 1973, in Essequibo, Guyana, Syldon was the beloved son of Walter and Cheryl Nedd.

Syldon was a cherished brother to Shawmin Nedd-Welcome, Symone Nedd, Shenelle Gordon, Yvonne Nedd-Gordon, Donette Zurbuch, and Gregory Nedd. His nieces and nephews, Javon Nedd, Thalia Davis, DeWayne Davis, Isaac Gordon, Olivia Welcome, Cheryl Gbalah,, Liam Bolton, Chole Nedd, DeShawn Tasher, David Gordon, Bryce Nedd, and Patrick Nedd, held a special place in his heart. He was also a loving great uncle to Dahlia, Ava, and Michelle-Symone.

Syldon’s life was filled with love, laughter, and a deep connection to his family. His presence brought joy and comfort to those around him, and he will be remembered for his warmth, kindness, and unwavering support for his loved ones.

Syldon’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed, but his spirit will continue to inspire and guide us. Rest in peace, dear Syldon.
