Hi Emma and Peter,

We share our deepest love and thoughts with you with the loss of Sydney. My mother and I were reminiscing on how we would visit you in the Bay Area and you would come in Alaska! Even though, it seems like so long ago- those are memories we cherish!

Our door is always open and always feel free to reach out! 

We’re so sorry for your loss,  Michael and Emma.  Syd was an amazing woman.  To be in her presence was a delight for anyone lucky enough to know her.  

It was such an honor to be loved by your mom and to have a loving place to grow up with Emma. Summers were filled with Michelle Branch, swimming at Ann Curtis, and many many delicious treats. Her home was so vibrant and full of curiosity. I am so saddened to hear of her loss and, in a very Our Town fashion, just want to say that she touched my life and made a beautiful impact, all those years ago. Her spirit lives on through baked goods and delightful coffee table conversations.

I have known Sydney for more than 40 years. We became friends as soon as we met each other as I was visiting her roommate Andy from Paris where I lived.  After that we travelled a lot together to Hawaii, Italy, France, AZ and we met often. I have lots of good memories...and will remember her laugh . She taught me a lot of things about the American way of life, about cooking and knitting. And I love cats as well. I met Jean thanks to her and we're still friends although we live in 2 different continents.
