Sydney's obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Sydney Elizabeth King on June 24, 2024. Born on December 19, 1989, Sydney lived a life full of tenacity, love, youthfulness and adventure. Her heartwarming smile, contagious laugh and indomitable spirit will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate to have known her.
Sydney King, daughter of Connie Heffner and Kevin King, Sister of Allie Heffner and Kevin King Jr, Niece of Camille King, Judy Fryberger and Dianna Heffner, was born in Saint Louis Missouri and spent a brief time there before moving to Kansas City Kansas, where she lived and grew up with her father among the Woodlands greyhound race track. Sydney loved animals and spent all of her time with the greyhounds before its closure in 2008. Sydney had dedicated her remaining years being the sole supporter of her father and with their farm. In her free time, Sydney would often travel to California to visit her brother and his three cats, and to Missouri to spend time with her sister visiting Grants farm and the Saint Louis Zoo together.
Sydney had an ability to reach people in a deep and positive way, always being a healing hand for those who needed it. She will truly be missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends and remain in the heart of her mother, father, sister and brother. With Sydney's minimalistic life in mind and her own words on her bucket list, there will be no funeral service. There will be a Celebration Of Life in her memory on June 29th 2024 at 12:00 with immediate family and friends to celebrate her with positivity and joy. The Celebration Of Life will be held at Sydney's mothers house in Saint Charles Missouri.
