It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sven Carlson, who left us too soon on July 9, 2024. Born on October 21, 1977, Sven lived a life permeated by laughter, kindness, and love.

Sven was best known for his wit, a keen sense of humor that could illuminate even the gloomiest of days. He had an unparallel sensitivity that made him a wonderful friend and confidante, always ready to lend a sympathetic ear and share a kind word. Sven was also extremely kind, always putting others before himself. His charismatic personality made him a joy to be around, and he had the special ability to make everyone feel welcome and loved.

One of the most important lessons Sven left behind was the power of laughter. He firmly believed that laughter could heal, connect, and make the world a little bit better. He was the embodiment of this belief, always quick with a joke or a kind smile, his laughter infectious and spirit uplifting.

The legacy that Sven leaves behind is one of kindness and love.  His compassion and generosity touched the lives of many, and he always saw the best in others. His selfless acts of kindness, big or small, will continue to inspire those who were fortunate to know him.

Sven is survived by his beloved mother Pat Carlson, brothers Lars, Nels and sister Nancy.  He also leaves behind his dear son, Oden, whom he loved with all his heart. His love for Oden was immense and unending.

In this time of sorrow, we remember Sven for his unwavering kindness, infectious laughter, and the love he shared with us all. He may have left this world, but his memory will forever be engraved in our hearts. May he rest in peace.
