I knew Sven most of my life. We had a lot of good times together. He always greeted me with a smile and that is how I'll always remember him. My prayers go out to his family.
Our sympathies to the Carlson family. Such a tragedy! So Sad!

Ok so, now I completely get the whole “with a heavy heart” thang… So my youngest cousin, I mostly grew up with but mainly just in our childhoods, as far as growing up goes. I was so blessed and fortunate to see him just a few years ago , right after Oden was born, that beautiful baby! Sven was the little trouble maker, always with a huge grin even if he didn’t do something he shouldn’t have, he was ALWAYS smiling like he had something on somebody! I have quite a few memories of Aunt Pat either threatening to take off the flip-flop, or chasing him around the kitchen with a spatula, haha, while he’d run, so quick and so tiny, right under the kitchen table! Lmao! As kids we had so much fun together regardless of the age gap, because thru all of us , I guess grand kids on the Bruno side alone, we kept a pretty tight chain that tied all our ages from top to bottom, which I hate to say, just wasn’t his turn, being the youngest. But I will NEVER forget all the sh*t eaten grins on that kids face “as kids” and what a fine young man he turned out to be. He was very witty, slick, smart and adorable all in one! He will be sorely missed, with out being able to shake any feeling of some what an experience that, of personal guilt as a family member. I’ll never forget my wild , little , adorable cousin as I can only always remember the feeling that’s been brought upon all of us who loved him so much, as a lesson if nothing else, and that is to just always, in these days we live, with all the different ways we have to contact our family, friends and loved ones, pick up whatever kind of device you have, just give someone a call, say , “Hey, Hi, How ya doing?” Doesn’t have to be any long message but just so you can hear them and they can hear from someone who either one has heard from in a long time. It can’t hurt and if it does? Like an old argument? Hey, at least you got to reach out to that person or people. Keep in touch with every one. (I know I’m gonna get it from my family, lol) But in all seriousness, be the one reaching out, cause you never know what your friends and family are up to til ya make the first move. Sven Sweetheart, I have so many regrets just as your cousin, mostly, I just regret not keeping in touch like we said we would. I shall cherish every memory I have and have yet to remember , you were the closest to a little brother we ever had and thank you for that! (However ,if you’re here, I’d have to whip ya up-side the head! But I’d most definitely hold back and tell you how lucky YOU are, that I love you so damn much. You’ll be terribly missed, Cuz! (((Tight -tight hugs))) Love you always, Cuz, ….Jessica 😉wink! 😘
Fond memories of laughing, dancing and adventure. My sincere condolences for this heartbreaking loss!
