Suzette's obituary

On this day, September 20th, Suzette has passed away. She fought the battle with terminal lung cancer and unfortunately medical interventions failed. We would like to make a special thanks to our doctor friends for their heroic and supportive help in our time of need. Suzette passed surrounded by her husband and daughter in Ian Anderson Hospice – a lovely place to spend her final moments. In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to Ian Anderson Hospice (https://www.canadahelps.org/e…)

We all know how deeply loved she was by all. Suzette’s celebration of life will be held at St. Clement’s Church (70 St.Clements Avenue, Toronto) on Monday, September 26th at 12pm-1pm (optional reception) and 1pm-2pm (celebration of life service). All those who can come are welcome to.

Following the Church Service and Reception, Suzette will be laid to rest at a private ceremony for immediate family only. For paying future respects, Suzette will be at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery & Funeral Home in a Mausoleum crypt (8361 Yonge Street Thornhill, ON L3T 2C7) where she and her husband will eventually reunite.

Thank you for being a part of her wonderful life. She made an impact on every person that she met and has displayed incredible kindness, humility and compassion. She will be dearly missed.

Suzette was a devoted daughter to Michael and Phyllis Chang, sister to Sharon De Sousa, sister-in-law to Manuel De Sousa and Aunt to Kristen, Rachel and Ryan De Sousa. She passed after saying her goodbyes to the ones she loved.

With love,

Her daughter and husband, Jade and Roy Henzie.
