Suzanne Foley Taylor “Nena”

Suzanne F. Taylor, age 80, of Chevy Chase, Maryland, entered the presence of the Lord on Thursday, September 2, 2021. Suzanne was born September 14, 1940 in Washington DC to Dr. Thomas M. Foley MD and Dorothy C. Foley.

Suzanne had a heart for helping others. She was active in Chevy Chase United Methodist Church, the Chevy Chase Garden Club, and Meals on Wheels. Suzanne was an avid runner and tennis player and enjoyed traveling and visiting her children and grandchildren. She graduated from Bethesda - Chevy Chase High School in 1958. She took pride in her family, who called her Mom, Nena, and Precious. Suzanne was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all.

Suzanne is survived by her husband of 27 years, Dr. Robert Taylor DDS; children Jennifer Grant of Memphis, Tennessee, and Dr. Thomas Grant MD (Stacy) of Newport, North Carolina; grandchildren Heinz, Bennett, and Tyler Grant; step-children Bobby Taylor (Thara) and Christine Kopsidas (Tony); step-grandchildren Zoe Kopsidas and Karsyn Taylor. Suzanne was preceded in death by her children Donald Grant II and Patricia Grant; granddaughter Emmerson Grace Grant; parents, Dr. Thomas M. Foley and Dorothy C. Foley; and sister Patsy Foley.
