Suzanne Margaret Stannard  passed peacefully on March 16, 2025 Cambridge. NY with family by her side.

Suzanne was born September 12, 1951 to Lillian (Rudd) and Henry C. Stannard.  She grew up in South Dorset with six siblings.  William H.Stannard, of Hebron, NY  Robert C. Stannard (Judy), Henry. C. Stannard (Posie), Gail Gaudette (Donald), all residents of South Dorset, Kay Mach (Philip), of Pawlet and Cindy (Sid) Tyrrell (Eric) of Arlington, Vt. She was predeceased by her son Stan, her mother and father and her brother William.

  She attended Dorset schools and graduated from Granville Central High  School in Granville, Ny. She worked for Orvis and Mack Molding,  where she retired from.

Susie enjoyed trips to the beach, going out to eat, watching her great nieces and nephews sports games and BBQ’s with family and time spent with friends.

The family would like to thank all friends and family for their support during this difficult time. We would also like to thank Doug and Wendy Ford for all the help they gave to Susie. We are forever thankful.

We would also like to thank NY Hospice and all the very nice people who gave care to her at this time.

A celebration of life for Suzanne will be held on Sunday April 27 from 12 - 3 at the home Michelle Gaudette 25 Snow Road, Dorset.  Additional parking at the Quarry
