SUZANNE's obituary
It is with a heavy heart and great sorrow that we announce the passing of Suzanne Siltala-Wirtz. Born February 9th, 1960, her life came to a peaceful end on May 31st, 2024. Suzanne embodied the spirit of generosity, strength, and independence. She was a caring, selfless soul who showered everyone she met with love and respect.
Her spirit is carried on by her loving daughter, Melissa Wirtz, who was not only her child but her best friend and confidante. Her memory will live on through Melissa and all those who have had the pleasure of knowing her and experienced her kindness.
Suzanne was a woman of great strength and independence, who taught those around her the importance of treating everyone with respect and love. Her lessons were not taught by words, but by her own actions, reflecting her strong and caring personality. She encouraged those around her to embrace these values, creating a lasting impact on their lives. Even towards the end, when her strength was diminishing, she still did her best to help those around her in any way possible.
One of Suzanne's passions was her incredible love for all animals, especially horses. Her affinity towards animals was evident in the nurturing care and love she extended to them her entire life. Her compassion for all beings was a testament to her character, and this love added a unique richness to her life, providing her with a source of comfort and joy. Simba, her cat, was her pride and joy on this earth and we have no doubt he will miss her greatly. Waiting for her over the Rainbow Bridge are Drago, Sarge, Beauty, Shyanne, Gunner, Ice, Sassy, Sam, Duke, Sarabi and so many more animals whom she loved during her time on this earth.
Suzanne is preceded in death by her parents Alice and Herbert Siltala, her brother Herbert Siltala, her nephew Russel Huckleberry and niece Debra Huckleberry. She is survived be her daughter Melissa Wirtz, her sister Pat Huckleberry, and her niece Joanne Huckleberry.
In memory of Suzanne Siltala-Wirtz, we hope those who knew and loved her will reflect on the wonderful person she was. Her spirit, her lessons, and her love for life serve as an inspiration for us all. Even though she is no longer physically with us, her legacy will forever live on in our hearts.
