It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Suzanne "Susan" Ernst (Maddocks) on May 20, 2003, a day shy of her 62nd birthday. Known by many as Susan, she held a strong preference for Suzanne, a testament to her unique and vibrant personality.

Born on May 21, 1941, Suzanne was full of determination and resilience. Her hardworking nature was evident in all her endeavors, from her professional life to her everyday tasks. Even as she navigated through the difficulties and challenges life presented, she never lost her attention to her work nor her propensity for diligence.

Suzanne had an ability to connect with people, which was at the heart of her sociable persona. Her warmth, generous spirit, and engaging conversation made her a friendly figure in her community. She had the ability to make anyone feel at ease, a trait that will be sorely missed by all who had the pleasure to know her.

As we mourn her passing, we also celebrate Suzanne's fulfilling life marked by hard work and sociability.  Her memory will forever be in the hearts of those who loved and esteemed her.

Despite our sadness, we find comfort in remembering that Suzanne's legacy continues to inspire us to work hard, connect with people, and live life to its fullest. Her memory will forever remain.
