Suzanne's obituary

Suzanne King passed away peacefully on September 24, 2024 at Northside Medical surrounded by Family and Friends. A woman of remarkable resilience and vivacious spirit, Suzanne's life was one filled with an insurmountable love for her family and a devotion to her career.

Suzanne is survived by her husband, Glen King, and their daughter, Lexi King. She is also survived by her brothers, Mark (Wife Tara Mixon) and Robert Mixon (Wife Edwinna Mixon). Suzanne was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Grace King, and her parents, Norma and Royce Mixon.

Suzanne was a proud alumnus of Stone Mountain High School in Stone Mountain, GA, where she graduated in 1981. In 1996, Suzanne welcomed her child Mary Grace into the world, and in 1999, she expanded her family by adopting. A dedicated, hardworking professional, Suzanne was highly successful in Healthcare sales, a field she was passionate about for over 30 years.

Known for her independent and ambitious nature, Suzanne was also warm, bubbly, and welcoming. She had an infectious sense of humor that could liven up any room. Her learnings which she passed onto those around her included the values of hard work, love, and kindness towards all.

The Viewing for Suzanne will be held on October 5, 2024, at 10:00 AM, the first service at 11am at Wages & Sons Funeral Homes in Stone Mountain. The second viewing and service will be held later the same day at Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home in Vienna, GA at 3pm and burial will be at Lane Cemetery at 4pm. The family invites you to join them as they celebrate Suzanne's life and the indelible impact she had on those around her.

Suzanne's legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew her. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to be a guiding light for all.
