Sue's obituary

Suzanne R. Giovanni, age 71, died peacefully at her home on Monday, March 29th, 2021. Born February 4th, 1950, in Appleton, WI, she attended Neenah High School in Neenah, WI before moving to the Milwaukee area. Sue graduated from The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a degree in Nursing. A career she loved with a passion, she worked as a floor nurse, then went on to work for an orthopedic surgeon for many years. It was in Milwaukee where she met and married her dear late husband, Mario Giovanni. They raised two children, Anne Grazier of Lindenhurst, IL and Nick Giovanni of Round Lake Beach, IL.

In 1996, she moved with her family to the Suwanee, GA area. She grew to love the south and had many wonderful memories down there with family and friends. She had a strong faith in Jesus Christ and we find comfort knowing she is with Him and her husband again. But we will certainly miss her spunky personality, kind smile, listening ear, always loving to hear stories, cracking jokes, an incredible memory of detail, and the love she showed to her family. Her pride and joy was her sweet grandaughter, Audrey. She moved up to the Chicagoland area in 2016 following the death of her husband. She missed Georgia but knew being close to family was important.

Sue was proceeded in death by her parents, Donald and Carmen(Stratton) Steber; husband, Mario Giovanni; and nephew, Jeb Jensen. Survivors include daughter, Anne Grazier and grandaughter, Audrey; son, Nick Giovanni; sister, Char (Steber) and Jeff Jensen of Reedsburg, WI.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Suzanne will be held in June sometime.
