Susie's obituary
It is with profound sorrow that we announce the demise of Susie Arshalian, born on March 4, 1963, who left us all too soon on June 22, 2025.
Susie is survived by her devoted son, Michael Arshalian, who was the center of her world. Tragically, she was predeceased by her brother, Robert Arshal, and her dear sister, Carol Schreiner.
Susie graduated from Chico, CA, in 1987 with a B.S. in Business Administration. She had an illustrious career and was recognized for her National Achievement in Sales in 1998. Despite her professional commitments, she was a loving single mother who prioritized the well-being of her son above all else.
Susie had a dynamic personality and was known for being passionate, determined, and playful. She had a zest for life and enjoyed a wide array of activities and hobbies. She found joy in the simple pleasure of sipping her favorite grape juice, listening to 80's hits, and exploring haunted places during her ghost hunting adventures. She stayed fit by working out in her home gym and loved to escape to her favorite vacation spot in the Bahamas.
In her quiet moments, Susie showed an admirable dedication to causes she deeply cared about, such as the ASPCA. She loved all shades of red, a color that perfectly reflected her passionate and vibrant spirit.
Susie will forever be remembered as a woman of ambition and willpower. Her legacy will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her. Her love, sacrifices, and tireless efforts to create a better life for her son will always be treasured.
In her passing, we remember the words of her son, "I hope she knew that I appreciated every sacrifice she made to care for me, her only child. She always pursued a better quality of life for us." Those who knew Susie will agree that she succeeded in that pursuit, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and devotion. Rest in peace, Susie, you will be profoundly missed.
