Susana "Chocolate" Rosales was born in Orange, California on March 28, 1960. She was only 60 when she passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 31st in Harbor City, California.
Our mom was an extraordinary woman known for her unwavering commitment to service and care towards others. She was a remarkable cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family, friends, and those that lived in the streets. She was always willing to lend a helping hand and did so without expecting anything in return. She always had a smile on her face. She was fondly known as Chocolate by loved ones.
Susana is survived by her daughter, Evelyn Godoy, and her two sons, Johnny Carrillo and Ruben Linares. Their memories of their mother will forever be inspired with the sense of devotion and care that defined her existence.
Few things brought Susana more satisfaction than serving as a volunteer for Feeding the Homeless, her actions speaking volumes about her commitment to alleviate the struggles of the less fortunate. To Susana, the cause of the homeless was not just a side interest, but a passion that shaped her life and left an lasting mark on those around her.
