Susan "Lucy" Wimberley, known fondly to many as Lucy, yet preferred to be addressed as Susan, has passed away on September 6, 2024. Born on May 22, 1963, her warmth and love radiated from her soul and touched everyone she encountered in her lifetime.

Susan was a beacon of kindness and respect, consistently emphasizing the importance of treating others with dignity and consideration. Her every action embodied these values, making her not only a cherished family member but also a role model for those fortunate enough to have known her.

She is survived by her mother, Carolyn Smith, and her siblings: sisters, Gail Wheeler and Pam Dethloff, and brothers, Gary and Mike Smith. Her spirit also lives on in her son, Stephen Bates, and her cherished granddaughter, Hermione Bates, whose lives will forever be influenced by Susan's profound love and guidance.
