She is survived by her daughter, Melissa Ward, granddaughter Ariel, mother Marilyn, four siblings, many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Her husband, Jim Ward, preceded her in death on October 16, 2015.

They lost their twin sons, Cameron and Jeremy, at birth on December 29, 1990. Daughter, Melissa, was born February 7, 1995. Sue and Jim were great partners working together at their Happy Tikes daycare. They also worked at selling Sue’s hand-made crafts at various craft fairs. Sue was very creative. She loved caring for children at her own daycare and as a nanny, was a Girl Scout troop leader, and later enjoyed cooking at Macaluso’s restaurant where she made many friends.
