Susan's obituary
We sadly announce the passing of Susan Valls, born on August 16, 1957, who departed from us on August 28, 2025. A woman of remarkable warmth, caring nature, easy-going spirit, and intelligent humor, Susan's loss leaves a void in our hearts.
Susan is survived by her beloved sons, Christopher, Brian, Corey, and Jeremy Valls, who remember her as a pillar of strength and the heart of their family. She is also survived by her brother, John Isle, and her ex-husband, Vaughn Valls.
Known for her love of Mexican and Italian cuisines, Susan relished her Pepsi and Iced Tea. A fan of classic music, her favorites included Elvis Presley, Elton John, The Beatles, The Beach Boys, The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Lionel Rickey, The Jackson 5, The Mamas and Papas, and Billy Joel among others.
She loved watching 911, Grey's Anatomy, and Days of our Lives, and always enjoyed the films The Wizard of Oz, Beetle Juice, and the Lion King. A loyal Dallas Cowboys fan, one could often find her enjoying games on her phone.
Susan loved watching performances of Hades Town, spending time with her dogs and in her favorite local spot - her chair, where she'd watch the world go by. She was passionate about her grandchildren and her dog max, always advocating for their happiness. Her world was a swirl of pink, her favorite color.
Susan taught us to treat everyone the way we want to be treated. Her greatest achievement, she often said, was raising her four boys and being the strongest woman in their world.
Her legacy is one of love and kindness that touched the lives of all who knew her. Susan's heart left an imprint on everyone, and her life lessons, strength, and memories continue to bring comfort to us all. Her caring nature, her understanding ear, and her love for life live on in her family and friends. Even in passing, Susan Valls continues to be an inspiration.
