My condolences to Susan's family. I first met Susan when she moved to the Currituck Club in Corolla full time. We met at a "porch time" down the street from our homes.  Susie and I spent many hours together just chatting about life and our loves. We often went to our favorite Thai restaurants for lunch, just because. Bill and Susie were married the day before my husband Steve and I's anniversary. Therefore we would celebrate together at La Dolce Vita in Corolla. Susie was such a kind and caring person. She was always hosting special events at her lovely home. She even had a special spa day for us, with facials and pedicures. She was such a wonderful hostess and chef. She taught me how to make homemade pasta. 😋 The day my husband died, she was right there to console me. Always so giving. Gosh, I could go on and on. And even though I moved away from Corolla after Steve's death, she took the time to come and visit. I will forever be grateful for her friendship. Such a beautiful person. I miss her terribly and am so very sorry for the family's loss as well.
