It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Ms. Susan Speer who departed from this life on September 12, 2023, at her home in Cape Coral Florida with her fur babies by her side. Sue Was born on June 11, 1963. Sue was a long-time resident of Branford until she moved to Florida. Sue graduated Branford High school class of 1981. Sue loved her seafood and many trips to the mountains and her favorite spot was Lido Beach Florida. She is Predeceased By her Parents and grandparents. She is survived by her brother Stanley Speer and his wife Tamara, of Branford, CT, Uncle Edward Speer and his wife Susan of Port Charlote Florida. Nephews, Nieces, Cousins and many wonderful Friends in Branford CT. Susan's vivacious spirit and enduring strength will fondly be remembered and cherished. Susan lived a life full of accomplishment and love. She courageously navigated life, leaving an indelible mark on everyone she encountered along her journey. Our Lives are left richer for having known her and we will miss her dearly, Sue worked in hospitals between New Haven and Cape Coral as a unit secretary for many years and retired to enjoy life. She also volunteered at the animal shelter in Fort Myers Florida where she rescued her beloved pets. May she rest in peace. Her absence leaves a void in our hearts, yet her spirit continues to enfold us with warmth and great memories of her life.
