Susan Louise MacDonald, born on November 27, 1949, in Duluth, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2025, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She was 75 years old.

Susan was a proud graduate of Two Harbors High School, class of 1967. Susan also graduated from Normandale Community College and received an Associate of Arts in Liberal Studies - with High Honors. 

She cherished her family deeply and found immense joy in attending the sporting events of her children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. A devoted fan of the Washburn Millers and Richfield Spartans, Susan’s enthusiasm for supporting her loved ones was a hallmark of her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Ruby MacDonald, and her brother Steven MacDonald. Susan is lovingly remembered by her children Steven MacDonald Froemming and Anna Acosta Sanchez; her grandchildren Isela Acosta Sanchez and Amoz Bray; her siblings David MacDonald (Jan), Mark MacDonald (Natalie), Scott MacDonald (Amy), Julie MacDonald, Laurie MacDonald, and James MacDonald (Nan); as well as numerous nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart.

Susan’s warmth and dedication to family will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May her memory bring comfort to those she touched throughout her life.
