Susan Carol Leon, 68, passed away peacefully on the afternoon of August 12th, 2023. She was surrounded by family and Scripture in the days before. She was born in Tucson, AZ, the daughter of Esther Lugarda Gradillas and Albert Ballesteros Leon on October 27th, 1954. Susan retired from PSE after 30 years. She loved traveling and family gatherings - all while laughing and displaying her radiant smile. She enjoyed dancing Tejano music and listening to Christian worship songs. After a short battle with cancer, she went to be with the Lord. Susan is survived by her Son Albert A. Garcia (Sofia), daughter Cynthia E. Garcia (Christian), son Raymond Garcia. Grandchildren, Giovannah S. Verdugo (Ernesto), Karyza Jones (Storm), Jovani R. Garcia, Gianna A. Duran, great-granddaughter Kailani M. Verdugo; her sisters, Gina Leon Lopez and Anna Marie Leon as well as other siblings and many whom she considered family.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 25th , 2023, at 4:00pm at Christian Fellowship Church 450 W. Irvington Rd Tucson, AZ 85714. 

Celebration of Life to follow at 5:30pm at Marine Corps League 216 E. 29th St Tucson, AZ 85713
