Susan L Alexander (Boggess), 78, of Orangevale, CA passed away peacefully in her home on Thursday, April 24th, 2025 - surrounded by her family for the days preceding her passing.

She was born June 21, 1946 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Clifford O. Boggess and Ruth Boggess (Smith). She was raised in Sacramento, Ca and graduated from El Camino High School in 1964. She went by Susie in her younger years, which “stuck” with many people to this day.

She was the Beloved wife to Herbert T Alexander, Jr. whom she spent the last 45 years of her life with as a devoted wife. They traveled and shared a beautiful life together and “Herbie” was the love of her life.

She was known by Rob Vesci, Ron Vesci and Sheri Kenton as Mom. She was known to 2 step-children, Mark Alexander and Kim Penney (Alexander) as “Ma” or “Sue”. She was known to Charolette Vesci, Josh Ahner, Jami Harmon (Penney), Jill Penney, Bridgette Baker, Morgan Miller (Baker), Tommy McLaughlin as “Grandma Sue” and known as “Great-Grandma Sue” by Emma, Liza, Kaia, James and Emalyn.

Sue was preceded in death by her mother and father and her adored grandparents. She is survived by her husband, 5 children, 7 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and her Sister Marilyn Sullivan (Boggess) of Santa Barbara, CA, who will all never forget the love she brought to their lives.

There will be a celebration of life, Wednesday, April 30th, 2025 at 2pm at Folsom Hotel, 703 Sutter Street, Folsom, CA 95630. All, Friends and Family are invited to come celebrate Sue’s life and share fellowship opportunity to share memories of Sue.
