Today I woke up thinking about Susan,  thinking about her influence on those fortunate to know her in this earthly realm (and I count myself as one of those fortunate ones, although the time was all too brief!). I said a prayer in remembrance of her, asking for divine guidance for her soul's continued journey in the Infinite!

Dear Abbie,

Our hearts go out to you at the loss of your mother. Susan was a woman of beauty, passion, and grace, whose love for God and humanity was a shining example of generosity and joy. May she be welcomed by her great goodness in her glorious new dwelling place.

I will  never forget the night when we had a gathering at the Dallas Baha’i center  and she helped in the kitchen even though she wasn't feeling well!
