Susan Katherine Glenn, 76 of Waverly, Ohio passed away on Friday morning February 16th 2024 at SOMC Hospice Center with family by her side. Born August 23rd, 1947 she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Ruth Debo of Portsmouth OH. She attended Saint Mary's Church. She retired from Portsmouth Banking Co. as well as Scioto County Clerk of Courts. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother and friend. She loved to play golf and showing her moves off on the dance floor. She had a heart of gold and a smile that could brighten anyone's day.

Susie is survived by her daughter Angie (Gerald Sr.) McGlone of Portsmouth. Two sisters, Janet Oster of Portsmouth and Mary Louise (Bob) Hennesy of Gallipolis. Three granddaughters Allison (Bobby) Ellis, Jacqui McGlone and Aleigha McGlone and one grandson Jerry McGlone Jr. Five great grandchildren Carter, Elijah, Addelyn, Noah and Wyatt and a very special friend Bill Strausbaugh. 

Susie was reunited with her loved ones in heaven, her first husband Jack Glenn, who passed away March 27th, 1997. Her second husband Monte Shonkwiler who passed away July 7th, 2018 and her sister and best friend Dottie Nichols last May. 

Services will be held on Tuesday February 20th, 2024 at Melchers Funeral Home. Vistations will be held from 11am-1pm. with funeral to follow right after 1pm.
