In loving memory of Susan Renea Hicks:

Susan Renea Hicks, a cherished wife, sister, mother, and Mimi, entered the Kingdom of heaven on September 15, 2023, at the age of 58. She was born on July 2, 1965, to Homer Robertson and Shirley McClain in Birmingham, Alabama.

Susan was a devoted wife to her beloved husband, Jody Hicks, and a source of strength and support for her family. Susan's caring presence will be deeply missed by her sons, Dustin Cox (Ashley) and Cody Hicks, who held a special place in her heart.

In the embrace of eternity, Susan is reunited with her loved ones who preceded her in death. She joins her father, Homer Robertson; her mother, Shirley McClain; her sister, Annette Hankins; and her son, Brent Cox. Their spirits now dwell together, watching over those they left behind.

Susan's memory will forever be cherished by her surviving brother, Kenneth Robertson, and his wife, Linda. She will be fondly remembered by her niece, Amanda Whatley (Lauren), and her adored grandchildren: Summer and Kyleigh Osborn, Jenna and Anna-Claire Pritchard, Matthew Aaron, Charlie Cox, Kaiden Watts, Joseph Cox,  Caiden Watts, and Maleigha Hicks. Their lives were illuminated by her love and guidance, and her spirit will continue to inspire them.

In memorial of Susan we will celebrate her life on at Heritage Christian Center Hueytown, Alabama, Saturday, September 23rd at 11 am.
