Susan and I had been living in extremely close contact for 9 months, when one day I decided it was time to meet face-to-face. She said her water started leaking, so she sent Daddy down to Ron's Grocery store to buy some pads. Of course, he ran into Aunt Peg as soon as he went in and she asked why he wasn't at work, yet. When he explained, she sent him home to take Mom to the hospital immediately. I was born only a short time later.
In response to "How did you first meet Susan?"
Becky, Amanda and Rachel I send you so many hugs, thoughts and prayers. Grandma was an amazing soul and I am honored that she was such a big part of my life growing up. I have so many memories from haunted houses to bike rides. She will be greatly missed. R.I.P sweet lady 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙

Susan loved spending time with her family more than anything in the world. She especially loved going on vacations with them, from a trip to South Dakota and short trips to Black River Falls as a child, to camping in Wisconsin Dells, visiting family in Chicago and Tennessee, and travelling to Florida when her children were growing up, to vacations in Florida, Missouri, and Massachusetts once she was a grandmother. Sight-seeing stops along the way were always a must.
