**Susan "Sue" Harouny-Potting**

Susan "Sue" Harouny-Potting, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was 62 years old.

Sue was born on January 22, 1961, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Dr. Antoine Harouny and Jean Harouny. She was the fourth of five children. Sue grew up in a loving and supportive household, and she cherished her close relationships with her family and friends.

Sue was a kind, compassionate, and resilient woman. She had a heart of gold and was always willing to help others. Sue was also a devoted wife and mother. She loved her family more than anything in the world.

Sue will be deeply missed by her husband, Norm Potting; her sons, Gabriel Harouny (Jennie Harouny) and Derek Carswell; her daughter, Valerie Carswell; her grandchildren, Maciah Harouny, Dylan Pareja, Isabella Harouny; Rick Baisden, Juliana Sparow, Lauren Sparow (Navi McNeill GreatGranddaughter), Abbi Samko, Brook Samko, her siblings Diane Anthony ( David Anthony), Norma Lockney ( Dennis Lockney), Jamel Hutton-West, Christian Harouny (Amy Harouny)and many other loving family members and friends.

A memorial service for Sue will be held on October 14, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at 36400 Maplegrove Rd., followed by a reception at the same location at 12:00 p.m. A celebration of Sue's life will be held on January 20, 2024, time and location TBD.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Sue's memory to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.

Sue was a woman who brought joy to everyone she knew. She had a contagious laugh and a warm smile that could light up a room. Sue was also a great listener and always offered a helping hand to those in need.

We encourage everyone who knew Sue to remember her not with sadness, but with the joy she brought into our lives. The brightness of her spirit will continue to shine in our hearts, guiding us through our sorrows and reminding us of her unforgettable love.
