I have so many fond memories of you and Susie, Randal. Our journey together started when I was in the 6th grade, you were in the 7th, and we met at Stamp Club in Imperial, before you were transferred to Jerusalem. In college I met Susie and imagined the two of you were like the perfect couple. When Janny and I were sent to Dallas to serve in the ministry, you both kindly invited us over. Susie served us a delicious soup and salad, our kids got to know each other, and we lay out under the stars that night looking for falling stars. My heart has admired you both all these years, and I’m heartbroken to imagine the pain of your latest journey. All our love to you and your family. May you be surrounded by love and blessings in the years to come.

Randy, So sorry about Suzy. So many memories. When the Dick's went to Israel, Chuck Callahan and I tried in vain to steal her away from you, but it was an exercise in futility. God and fate had already sealed the deal with you and Susan. I cannot imagine the pain you are going through. God bless!

My husband Mel and I were saddened to hear about Susie's health challenges and her passing away. It was always a treat when our paths would cross at a youth camp, ministry assignment, or conference. Susie was one of the most uplifting people I've ever known, giving me some needed encouragement through the years. She was always generous with a hug, a smile, and a word fitly spoken. She will be fondly remembered by all who knew her for she leaves a legacy of love behind as she continues her spiritual journey. Our hearts and prayers are with the whole family! Love and blessings! Randy, Sharon & I were shocked to hear about Susie's illness and passing. Our prayers are with you and the whole family. I'll always have very fond memories of Susie from when she worked in the DP department (when everyone kept advising her to drop this "no count" from Pasadena-which ultimately proved to be bad advise) to when we were privileged & blessed to have you & Susie as pastor & pastor's wife as well as good friends. It was our great loss when ya'll moved on to "greener" pastures. We look forward to when we can share together all the joys and promises our Savior has for us in the future. All our love. Don & Sharon

We are sorry to only learn of this. Susie's life will be celebrated until we see her again. In an environment often fraught with relationships crafted by circumstances Susie was a True North star led by her heart. Rest well dear one. Andrew and Dana

Aching for your whole extended family. Susie was a sweet treasure. We met and became friends in 9th grade and it has always been one of my great regrets that our lives never gave us time together after that. But our bonds with the Dick family are strong and forever. Our love and heartfelt sympathy.

Our heartfelt condolences for your loss. May God give you and your family peace and comfort in these difficult days. Susie was my BFF during college days, and it was an honor to be her maid of honor at your wedding. She was truly a sweet and gentile lady, and we share in your sorrow. With love and condolences, Dale and Melanie (Metzner) Bynum
