Age 79 of Columbia Heights, MN passed away on January 28, 2023 surrounded by her family. Susan was born on February 22, 1942 in Minneapolis. Preceded in death by her parents Mildred and Ellsworth, sisters LuAnn, Ruth and Mirriam. Survived by sisters Lucille Masko and Flora Lee Rauch; her loving husband of 61 years Jim; children Julie Mooers DeMars (Mick), Jon DeMars(Jenny) and Jason DeMars (Amy); grandchildren David Mooers (AuriAnna), Sarah DeMars, Danny Mooers (Anna), Thomas DeMars, Avery, Mina and Adelyn DeMars; great grandson Brooks Mooers; and many nieces and nephews. Service Friday, February 17th at 12:00 pm with visitation 1 hour prior at 11:00 am. The family invites you to stay for lunch at the church following the service.
