Susan Marie (Johns) Cutsinger, 60 passed surrounded with the love of family and friends on December 7, 2023.

She was born on August 9, 1963 in Indianapolis where she resided her entire life.

Susan was loved by everyone who met her and she had a love for life, her family, and friends like no other. A sweet soul who wanted nothing but the best for everyone and for all to love each other.

She was a graduate of Ben Davis High School, class of 1981 and was in the band (clarinet and flag corp).

She also attended ITT Institute gaining her Associates Degree as Legal Secretary.

She worked at Riley, Bennett, and Egloff as a legal secretary and then was promoted to their Office Administrator in February of 1995.

Susan was an active member of The Association of Legal Administrators where she was the Indiana Chapter President 2013 to 2014. She was also an ALA Indiana Chapter Board member for several years.

Her favorite things to do were to spend time with family, her dogs, camping and boating with family and friends, and traveling.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Richard and Sharon Johns, and her sister Jennifer Johns.

She is survived by her husband Charlie Cutsinger, son Eric Shockley (Liz), daughter Melanie Cutsinger. Siblings Holly (Johns) Blake, Rolly (Paula) Johns, Kevin (Toni) Johns. Nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and several special lifelong friends.

There will be a visitation at her church on Thursday December 14, 2023 from 2pm to 6pm with a celebration of life service immediately following.
