It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Susan Margaret Burns, most affectionately known as SueB, who left us on April 5, 2025. Born on February 16, 1958, Susan was a shining beacon of kindness and generosity whose legacy will continue to permeate and inspire those who were fortunate enough to have known her.

Survived by her devoted son, Jeremy Bailey, & Chet Teifel , Susan's absence leaves a void that will be profoundly felt by many. Her vibrant personality, a dynamic blend of intelligence, humor, tenacity, and a dash of stubbornness, is ingrained in the memories of those she interacted with.

Susan was a colossal pillar in the community, her actions echoing her belief in treating people the way one wishes to be treated. Her footprints paint a trail of benevolence, showcasing the impact she had on countless individuals and the community as a whole. She was a living example that one person can indeed make a difference.

In honor of Susan's memory, a Celebration of Life will be held on June 21, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Pioneer Park in Nevada, City, Ca, 95959, We invite all those who were touched by her presence to join us in commemorating her life and sharing the many memories she left us. Susan's passing is a loss that will be keenly felt, yet the love, laughter, and lessons she shared with us will forever remain.

We mourn the loss of a remarkable woman, a loving mother, and a beloved daughter of Jean Burns and Chester Burns and  a cornerstone of her community. Yet, we also celebrate her life, her achievements, and the immeasurable impact she made on so many lives. Her spirit, encapsulated by kindness and generosity, casts a long shadow, one that will continue to provide solace and inspiration in her physical absence. Susan "SueB" Burns will be deeply missed, but her legacy will never be forgotten.
