Susan Jamison Burke, 64, of Charlottesville, Virginia passed away peacefully on March 3rd, 2023, surrounded by her family and loved ones. Susan grew up in Monmouth County, New Jersey and moved to the Charlottesville, Virginia area in 2006. She worked as a nurse for over 35 years at a variety of locations, including skilled nursing and assisted living facilities, an allergy & asthma specialists’ office, UVA hospital, and prison. She dedicated her career to helping others and to making others feel comfortable in stressful situations.

Susan had a great sense of humor, and enjoyed baseball, football, baking, spending time with her beloved grandsons, Ben & Little Roger, dogs, crafting, and watching Disney movies. She will be dearly missed and always remembered.

Susan was predeceased by her mother, Susanne Holden Jamison, her father, William Jamison, her brother, William Jamison, and her sister-in-law, Kathy Jamison. She is survived by her daughters Shannon Bostic (Roger Davis) and Colleen Rogers (Todd), and her grandsons, Ben Bostic and Roger Davis III. She is also survived by her brothers, Scott Jamison (Cindy), Paul Jamison (Sue), and Martin Burns (Jean). She will also be missed by future family members that will not get a chance to know her.

Susan requested a celebration of life be held in her honor as opposed to traditional funeral services. We request all of Susan’s loved ones to join us in celebrating her beautiful life at a family home in Virginia on March 18th, 2023 at 5:00pm.
