I have only just heard of Susan's passing and devastated. Susan and I were friends at primary school, we reconnected and I was blessed that Susan came to Napier when she visited her Mum around 7 years ago, we stayed in contact sporadically connecting each birthday, I only just found out because I thought it strange I hadn't heard from her on my recent birthday. My thoughts and love are with her sons who Susan was so proud of and extended family

My condolences to Susan's family, her Mum, sister & her children. Susan & I became friends during our Edgecumbe College days. I lived in Rata Ave, Edgecumbe & Susan lived in the "cool" lockwood house on College Road. I loved going to Susan's home, always made to feel welcome by her Mum, Anne & seeing younger sister Tracy. Susan & I were opposites in personalities. She was in my eyes, a " good girl", quiet & shy, but she definitely had a wild, cheeky & mischievous side, especially when our interest in "boys" started. Susan loved boys, even more if they drove a big V8. We had alot of fun, sneaking off with these "boys" (telling fibs to our mother's about where we were, lol). Typical teenage girl behavior. Susan was my "bestie" at school. We lost contact when she moved to Australia, but reconnected over Facebook around 10 years ago, and caught up whenever she came to NZ. Will never forget your cheeky smile Susan, fly high my friend xx
