Susan Kay Baldwin, 47, of Tustin California, passed away on October 20th, 2023, after a battle with Metastatic Breast Cancer.

Susan was born on October 18, 1976, to Edward and Paulette Baldwin in Abingdon. After Susan graduated from Abingdon High School in 1994, she went on to join the Navy. After the Navy, she later attended the University of Phoenix, graduating with two majors, Business and Marketing.

After graduating, she continued working for Advantage Sales and Marketing as a Business Manager responsible for McCormick Spices.

In 1998, Susan met Chris Cernosek in Carbondale, IL. They married in 2005 and divorced in August 2011.

Susan was predeceased by Kate and Emery Courson (Maternal Grandparents), Doren and Neoma Baldwin (Paternal Grandparents), and Bruce Courson (Maternal Uncle). She is survived by Edward and Paulette Baldwin (Parents), Jaclynn Gorton nee Baldwin (Sister), Brent Gorton (Brother-In-Law), Molly Gorton (Niece), and Johnny Gorton (Nephew).

Services were held on November 25th, 2023, at a private location. The area is named in her honor, Susan’s Corner. The site will be updated with a headstone and an engraved bench in 2024.
